Google Maps Enhances Bard with Generative AI: Image Generation Now Available
Google has recently introduced exciting updates to its Maps platform, including the integration of generative AI capabilities and notable enhancements for Bard. One significant update is the expansion of Gemini Pro, Google's multimodal AI model, to all languages and regions where Bard is accessible.
Previously, Gemini Pro was limited to the English language for Bard, offering advanced capabilities in comprehension, reasoning, summarization, and coding.
Now, Bard has been empowered with the ability to generate images, a feature currently available in English and accessible in most countries globally, at no additional cost to users. This image generation capability is powered by Google's latest Imagen 2 model, designed to deliver high-quality and photorealistic results while maintaining speed.

Using Bard's image generation feature is effortless—users simply provide a brief description, and Bard generates custom and diverse visuals to illustrate the idea.
