Meta-owned WhatsApp continues to enhance user experience with its latest feature – 'Auto Album' for channels. This innovation, currently available to select beta testers, will soon be rolled out to a wider audience in the coming days.

The automatic album feature makes it easy to organize multiple consecutive photos or videos shared in a WhatsApp channel. As reported by WaBetaInfo, channel administrators can now share content without limits, and the app will intelligently organize them into a unified album.

Feature is available to some beta testers and will be rolled out to more users in coming days

Not previously available for channels, this feature brings a new level of convenience to channel followers. Automatic albums allow users to tap and access the entire collection of photos and videos shared in the channel. Importantly, content shared within albums also supports channel reactions, adding an interactive element to media sharing.
